No Refund Policy
All payments made for GeneBill Pro or Business plans are non-refundable once the plan has been activated on your account. This applies to monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscriptions.
Why No Refunds?
GeneBill offers a free 7-day trial of Pro features to all new users. This gives you full access to test every Pro feature before making any payment. We encourage you to use this trial period to evaluate whether GeneBill meets your needs.
Free Trial — Try Before You Pay
- Access all Pro features free for 7 days
- No payment required to start the trial
- Trial automatically converts to Free plan after 7 days
- Upgrade to Pro anytime before or after trial
Exceptions
We may consider refunds only in the following exceptional cases:
- Duplicate payment — If you were charged twice for the same subscription
- Technical failure — If payment was deducted but plan was not activated due to a technical error on our end
- Unauthorized transaction — If a payment was made without your authorization (contact us immediately)
In these cases, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at support@genebill.com with your payment reference number.
Subscription Cancellation
You can stop your subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancellation:
- Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Account reverts to Free plan after the billing period ends
- All your data (invoices, customers) is retained on the Free plan
How to Request a Refund (Exceptions Only)
- Email support@genebill.com with subject: "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]"
- Include your UPI transaction reference or payment ID
- Describe the reason for your refund request
- Our team will review and respond within 3-5 business days
Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will work to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
