1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GeneBill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
GeneBill is a cloud-based GST billing software that allows Indian businesses to create invoices, manage customers, track payments, and generate GST reports. The Service is available in Free, Pro, and Business plans.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One account may be used by one business entity (multiple businesses supported in Pro/Business plans)
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
- Create false GST invoices or misrepresent transactions
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the software
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable Indian or international laws
5. Free Plan
The Free plan provides unlimited invoices, all 5 templates (with GeneBill watermark), and core features at no cost. We reserve the right to modify Free plan features with reasonable notice.
6. Paid Plans (Pro & Business)
- Subscription fees are charged in advance on monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis
- Payments are processed securely via UPI or Razorpay
- Plan features are activated upon successful payment verification
- Please refer to our Refund Policy for cancellation terms
7. Your Data
You own all data you create in GeneBill — invoices, customer information, and business data. We will not use your data for any purpose other than providing the Service. You can export your data at any time.
8. Availability & Uptime
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not liable for losses due to service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
GeneBill is a billing tool. We are not liable for errors in GST calculations resulting from incorrect data entered by users. Users are responsible for verifying all tax calculations and filing obligations.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
